6/1: Malibu Creek State Park w/ Narayan Gopinathan

Start: June 1st, 2025: 8am

End: June 1st, 2025: 1pm

Join us for this beautiful hike through Malibu Creek State park. We'll follow the creek past the old filming sites of both M*A*S*H and Planet of the Apes, ending at Malibu Lake! This 6.5 mile hike is moderately challenging with slight elevation. You won't want to miss the chance to see wildflowers the unique rock formations here!

Joining us will be Narayan Gopinathan, a PhD student at the Institute of the Environment and Sustainability (IoES) at UCLA. An avid participant in previous Peaks hikes, Narayan is returning to share his experiences with IoES, as well as his work with the department. You won't want to miss the chance to get to know him!
