3/1: Los Leones Trail w/Anthony Yates

Join us on this beautiful 4.1-mile hike through Topanga State Park with stunning views of LA and the ocean! This hike is a moderately challenging out-and-back with about 1,000 feet of elevation change. The trail passes through some wooded areas before opening up to the breathtaking canyon views. Highlights include gorgeous views and lush greenery.

Joining us on this hike is Professor Anthony Yates of the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures and the Program in Indo-European Studies. He specializes in Indo-European comparative-historical linguistics and in the philology and linguistics of the Anatolian languages, with particular focus on Hittite.
