4/27: Grasslands Trail at Malibu Creek State Park w/ Professor Todd Millstein

Join us for a scenic 6-mile hike through the beautiful Grasslands Trail in Malibu Creek State Park! This out-and-back trail offers rolling hills, sweeping views of the Santa Monica Mountains, and peaceful meadows bursting with spring wildflowers. The hike is moderately challenging with some elevation gain, but nothing too intense. It is perfect for a Sunday morning adventure.

Joining us on the trail will be Professor Todd Millstein, Chair of the UCLA Computer Science Department. Professor Millstein’s research explores programming languages, verification, and systems. His work that helps ensure the software we rely on is reliable. He’s also passionate about teaching and mentorship, and we're excited to have him along for this nature-filled opportunity to connect and converse outside the classroom.
