4/26: Hollyridge Trail to Hollywood Sign Viewpoint w/ Michael Ross

Join us for a beautiful 5.1-mile out-and-back hike near Universal City, California! Some points of interest will include a great view of the Hollywood sign, great views of surrounding peaks, and the city skyline. The hike will be moderately challenging with some elevation gain, but should be partly shaded.

Joining us on the hike will be Professor Michael Ross! Professor Ross is a renowned professor in the Political Science Department at UCLA. He specializes in the politics of climate change, fossil fuels, gender rights, and democracy. He recently published The Oil Curse: How Petroleum Wealth Shapes the Development of Nations. Professor Ross has also served on the advisory boards of the World Bank, the United Nations, and the US Interior Department, among many other influential organizations and departments.
