11/08: Hollywood Sign Via Mount Hollywood Trail w/ TA Zerrin Vural

Start: November 8, 8:30am 

End: November 8, ~12:30 pm

Join us Saturday, November 8th, for a 3-mile adventure on the Mount Hollywood Trail! This moderate hike features about 498 ft of elevation gain and takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of Los Angeles, the Griffith Observatory, and the Hollywood Sign, making it perfect for a relaxed weekend outing with great company.

If you are selected to go on the hike, we will meet at De Neve Turnaround at 8:30 am on 11/08 and hope to return to campus around 12:30.

Joining us on this hike will be Zerrin Vural, a PhD student in UCLA’s Mathematics Department and a current TA for Math 32B (Calculus of Several Variables). Feel free to chat with Zerrin about her research, her hometown of Fort Worth, Texas, or her favorite sports!
