The Los Liones Trail is a moderate hike with a roundtrip of 7.3 miles and an elevation gain of 1292 ft. The trail is surrounded by lush vegetation and panoramic views of Santa Monica. Be ready to engage in stimulating conversations about animals, UCLA, and so much more!


Dr. Noa is an Associate Professor within the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She continues to teach several courses such as Ecology, Evolution and Genetics (LS7B) and Advanced Statistics in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EEB 201). Alongside her teaching Dr. Noa conducts her very own research lab here at UCLA. Her research is centered on the behavior of the harvester ant Veromessor andrei and the composition of the invasive Argentine ant, L. humile.
