Join us this Saturday for a moderate 3.6 mile loop trail with around 780 feet of elevation change. We will be taking the bus to Runyon Canyon (yay for public transport!) and seeing gorgeous views of Downtown LA, Griffith Observatory, and the Hollywood Sign. Don't forget lots of water, snacks, and sunscreen as there isn't much shade on this hike!
Michael Ross is a professor in the Political Science Department and the Institute of the Environment and Sustainability at UCLA. He is currently teaching PoliSci M152: Political Economy of Climate Change. He has published on energy politics, climate change, fossil fuels, gender rights, and more; join us on this hike to get to know him and learn more about his amazing work!
