3/2: Eagle Rock Loop with UCLA Law School Professor Kimberly Clausing

Updated: Feb 22

Start: Saturday, March 2nd 9:30 am

End: Saturday, March 2nd 1:30 pm

Join us for this beautiful 4.6 mile hike near the Pacific Palisades in Topanga State Park! We’ll be exploring the lush California Canyon, which is currently teeming with wildflowers and other greenery! Once at the top, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of LA's valleys and the legendary Eagle Rock. While this hike isn't too long, the elevation gain of about 900ft poses a nice challenge for those interested in the outdoors and rewards hikers with stunning views all the way down.

Joining us on the hike will be UCLA Law School Professor Kimberly Clausing! Professor Clausing obtained both her Masters and PhD from Harvard University and she is extremely knowledgeable in tax law and policy. Having worked during the Biden Administration as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Tax Analysis in the US Department of the Treasury, she is renowned for her law classes on Federal Income Taxes and U.S. International Taxation. This will be the first time Peaks and Professors partners with a UCLA Law School professor and you won't want to miss out on this opportunity to get to know her!

Trip Leads: Noah Fornataro & Taylor Simonich
