Updated: Apr 25

Start: February 25th, 2024 8:00 am

End: February 25th, 2024 1:30 pm

Join us for this fun 7.1 mile hike in Will Rogers State Historic Park! This trail offers some amazing views of the ocean and the hills throughout the park. This hike can be considered challenging with some steep sections. We recommend that people wear shoes with plenty of traction.

Joining us on the hike will be Professor Alison Lipman! Dr. Lipman is a Lecturer in the EEB department, teaching a range of EEB classes every quarter. She has worked in conservation for over 20 years, both in the U.S. and the Amazon. She is Co-Founder and President of SELVA International, an organization that works to realize science-based and community-led conservation through education and collaboration. In addition to her work as an Ecologist, Dr. Lipman is also works within UC-AFT as a negotiator and on the Climate and Environmental Action Committee.

Trip Lead: Jade Bentley
