Start: Sunday, February 18th 9:00 am
End: Sunday, February 18th 1:00 pm
Join us for this beautiful 4.1 mile hike near the Pacific Palisades in Topanga State Park! We’ll be climbing up 1100ft, shaded by the mountain, passing a beautiful waterfall and lush wildlife along the way. Once at the top, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the LA coastline and the legendary Skull Rock. While this hike isn't too long, the elevation gain poses a nice challenge for those interested in the outdoors and rewards hikers with stunning views all the way down.
Joining us on the hike will be Professor Pike and Professor Roberts! Both Professors obtained their PhD's from UCLA and are extremely knowledgeable in political science. Professor Pike specializes in the politics of communication networks, international security, and emerging technologies. Professor Roberts is renowned for his political science classes on Data Analytics, International Political Economy, and Authoritarian Institutions. Both of their classes fill up quickly and you don’t want to miss out on this opportunity to get to know them!
Trip Lead: Noah Fornataro
