Join us for a beautiful 3.6 mile loop trail in Griffith Park with views of Los Angeles. Throughout the hike, we will also enjoy views of The Greek Theatre and Griffith Observatory. The hike is moderately challenging with a total incline of 833 feet.
Joining on us this hike is Professor Shapiro! This will be his first hike with Peaks and Professors and he is looking forward to joining us. Professor Shapiro has taught a variety of classes within the Institute for Society and Genetics. Much of his work is focused on environmental issues relating to climate change, chemical contamination, and carceral institutions. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity to get to know him!
