Join us for this beautiful 4.1 mile hike near the Pacific Palisades in Topanga State Park! Some points of interest will be a waterfall, amazing ocean views and, of course, Skull Rock. The hike will be moderately challenging with some elevation gain but should be partly shaded.
Joining us on the hike will be Professor Michael Ross! Professor Ross is a renowned professor in the Political Science Department at UCLA. He specializes in the politics of climate change, fossil fuels, gender rights, and democracy. He recently published The Oil Curse: How Petroleum Wealth Shapes the Development of Nations. Professor Ross has also served on the advisory boards of the World Bank, the United Nations, the US Interior Department, among many other influential organizations and departments.
