Join us for this beautiful 5.6 mile hike through the lush canyons of Topanga State Park as we trek through the Leacock Memorial, Temescal Ridge, and Bienveneda trails! If it's clear, we will be able to see views of Santa Monica Bay and the San Bernardino Mountains. The hike itself consists of a gentle grade culminating to nearly 1500 feet and is mostly shaded.
Joining us on the hike will be Professor Ryan Lannan. Professor Lannan has served as an adjunct lecturer at UCLA for a couple years now and has started his teaching career in the Life Sciences and Chemistry departments — notably teaching LS30 and Chem153 courses. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity to get to know him better!
